Accelerating a market transition in Latin America: New business models for electric bus deployment

This report was commissioned by Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals (P4G) to support the Zero Emission Bus Rapid Deployment Accelerator (ZEBRA) with its goal of accelerating the transition to zero-emission buses across Latin American cities. Today, there are many doubts and questions about how to finance this transition, given the high upfront cost of electric buses (e-buses). Therefore, this report aimed to develop concrete financing and commercial models that investors, bus operators, manufacturers, and governments can implement together.
