Electric mobility its mainly viewed as a people or freight transportation service; however, it has many complementary edges that can support the transition towards a green economy. It does not only account as a new business opportunity for utility companies and energy generation companies, but it does create a whole new value chain. The current economic and social crisis of countries in the region urges for the development of green industrial sectors and services by strengthening the regional value chains (RVC) and the better integration into global value chains (GVC). In this seminar, PEM MOTION will show how Caribbean countries may enter into the electric vehicle regional value chain and take advantage of their situation to promote the transport electrification from all angles.
